Duncan

Pony of the Americas

19 years old

Duncan is a remarkable blind horse who joined us in 2025 after being at risk of euthanasia due to unsafe conditions in his previous home. Thankfully, his owners reached out to us, and now he thrives in our blind sanctuary area as a permanent resident. Despite losing one eye completely and the other not functioning, Duncan's spirit shines brightly, and he navigates his world with ease and grace. We are so grateful to provide him the loving environment he deserves!

Zig Zag

Quarter Horse

10 months old

Zig Zag, aka "Ziggy," is a well bred baby who just didn't cook quite right.  His spinal deformity meant he was discarded from his working home, but he found a special place right here at GHRS where he can grow and thrive.  He is sweet and spunky, and we love the connection he has with his "Granny" Misty.
